Mr. Isaac Awuondo

Isaac Awuondo is an accomplished businessman and investor who sits on boards of several public and private organisations, including Africa Trade Insurance, Bata Shoes Company Kenya Limited, Nairobi Hospital and Riara University Council.

He is also significantly involved charitable and philanthropic activities, he is Chairman of the Kenya Conservatoire of Music and The Rhino Trust, a conservation charity involved in preservation of environmental biodiversity through fencing of the Aberdare Forest, the largest and main water tower  for Kenya, and the Zawadi Africa Education Fund, an educational charity involved in providing scholarship support to disadvantaged girls within Africa and presently operating in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Ghana.

Saadia Karimbux

Saadia Karimbux is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 19 years’ experience in legal issues. She has deep and demonstrated passion for nature.  

She has been involved in a number of conservation related initiatives through her support of Nature Kenya and participates in bird counts.She brings to the Board her wealth of experience in legal matters as well as diverse perspectives on drivers of environmental change and approaches to managing them.

Ibrahim Ali

Ibrahim Ali comes to WWF-Kenya’s Board with a wealth of experience gained from the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) for 24 years in various capacities, Executive Director of East Africa Wild Life Society (EAWLS) for nine years, and Regional Director for International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) for five years.

In addition, Ibrahim has served in various other boards and brings to the WWF-Kenya Board immense value from his wealth of experience in conservation, organizational development, programme development, public relations and fundraising.

Mary Kimonye

Mary Kimonye is the immediate former CEO of Brand Kenya Board and joins WWF-Kenya Board with over 24 years’ experience in public service.

She also bears several years of experience in management consultancy for the private sector.

She holds an MBA and currently pursuing Doctoral studies at the University of Nairobi. She is also a member of the Marketing Society of Kenya, Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Kenya Institute of Management.

Mary has won several awards including the prestigious Presidential award, Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) in recognition towards National image building among others.

From her knowledge, experience and wisdom Mary will be instrumental in helping WWF-Kenya’s brand building among other organisational and managerial capabilities.

Mr. Richard Kaguamba

Mr. Richard Kaguamba is an accomplished natural resource management specialist with over 20 years’ experience gained from a number of countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Peru and Mongolia.

He has worked with UNEP World Bank SIDA, GTZ among others in various capacities on conservation and in particular natural resource management, climate change, forest management, water resource management among others.

Richard will bring valuable skills in area of conservation and development. He holds a PhD in Agriculture majoring on Forestry Management.

Winnie Ouko

Winnie Ouko is a finance and strategy expert with over 20 years’ experience working for a variety of corporations and currently the CEO of Lattice a management consulting firm. 

She has previously led teams in finance advisory services across Africa and the USA, including leading audit teams at Price water house Coopers.

She holds an MBA as well as a CPA (K) and will bring valuable knowledge and skills in the areas of corporate finance, strategy, risk and audit.

Mr. Andrew Reicher

Mr.Andrew Reicher is an experienced businessman and investor, accomplished in the area of financial management and audit and has previously served in the WWF-UK Board which he left in December 2015 to join the WWF-Kenya Board.

He also brings a wealth of experience from serving in various other boards and has a great passion for conservation.
